Plantera Aficionado
To unlock plantera you first must have defeated all of the mechanical bosses. The mechanical bosses are: The twins, Ocram, Skeletron, and the Mechanical worm. You must also have activated hard mode and be in the underground jungle to find Plantera’s Bulb.
Plantera Prep
Preparing for Plantera is what the game is about basically. Plantera is a Highly advanced superboss capable of mass destruction and is very difficult to defeat, even with guarding dragon armour and a terra blade. I have even died before fighting Plantera and I have the best over hacked gear.
First I recommend having like, Guarding dragon armour, or Chlorophyte armour. (information about chlorophyte will be available) Plantera only goes into enraged mode if you leave the jungle so hold tight. For weapons I recommend Terra Blade, Horseman’s Blade, Demon Scythe, Paladins Hammer, Unreal Sniper Rifle or better.
To locate Plantera’s Bulb you must go to the underground jungle and find purple grassy stuff in the dark green jungle area and smash the purple and red bulb and the screen will read: Plantera Has Awoken!
The Fight Of Death!
You should have: Good Wings, Spectre Boots, Warding water/moon charm, warding obsidian shield, and a Band of instant regeneration. Than build a long stone platform along the underground jungle in case of a required hasty retreat.
Now break the bulb and then you will see a long boss labeled Plantera’s Hook. It will drag a large plant-like Cabbage looking thing toward you. Below our stats about plantera from Official-Terraria-Wiki.com
